Being a college professor has been the most enriching and surprising experience of my life. On this journey, I have learned to sample with great joy and anticipation the opportunities, people, circumstances, and perseverance needed for the trek. I love reminding my students that life truly is a JOURNEY and the opening (and closing) doors ahead will make it awesome adventure. My 29 years in academe have allowed me to be a part of the lives of so many students in class and in student organizations. What a privilege and honor to serve young people in this way!

Hey Doc G, thanks for joining my Friends page. Do you plan on being so mysterious about your name? Only those who know you by this name will be able to look for you. Do you have something to hide? I think I know who you are, but even I am not exactly sure.

I like the Doc G! It is fitting! What year student must I be to call you that? :)
