Jen, watching the evnnieg news tells one sentimental, good feel doesn't lead. "Remember if it bleeds,it leads." It is sad when comedy must be filled with curse words, bitter sarcasm and defiling a product, person or whatever?I won't be posting any of my sentimental nonsense of my youth. Just the other day I was weeding out for the new year and came across something I wrote at least 18 years ago. It means nothing but it haunts me to hold on- Not able to let loose...The body so willing the but them mind over rides,Please hush that I may ride.

Jen...Congratulations to Bridgy!!! She is a big girl now!Twenty-five years ago my two-year-old Jayson finally 'got it'. He stood rloudpy in front of the potty no less than five times in the space of thirty minutes - just to watch himself tinkle. I praised him each time for the good job he did. However, the sixth time he attempted, he announced to all of us that his pee-pee was broken and wouldn't work anymore - He needed a new one. As a mommy, I will forever remember this moment. Thanks for sharing and for reminding me of how wonderful my children are! The joy they bring cannot be measured.Lin

I will be brief. Your CNN interview was intriguing. Your comments, in general, seemed odd and I kept rewinding to see if you were saying something other than your sons and mine should not wear hoodies but should dress as others believe we should dress (ostensibly safe, nonthreatening, I presume). Unfortunately, that is what you seemed to be saying. Further, your comments re: opportunism (your belief) on the part of so-called Black leaders were also interesting, albeit quite dated. However, when you went as far as to opine your conspiracy theory of an Obama-focused machination to secure votes, I found myself reflecting on Freudian theory. That was, of course, after my wife and I asked each other if we actually heard correctly what you said. No doubt you are familiar with Freud's concept of projection. Somehow, it seems to fit the bill here. That would be the only thing that makes sense to me. I do not believe you are a deranged, mindless person. I respect your professional achievements and wishe to see you as a role model for Americans of all stripes. My beliefs are my own and no doubt you will refute them, which is OK. If I am wrong, great. If I am somehow correct, I hope that you do come to realize that it is not worth it, whatever IT is, that you hope to get out of what borders on mindless ranting, in my humble opinion. God Bless.
