I am just putting finishing touches to a collection of essays on Christian apologetics which I intend to publich on Amazon Kindle shortly in which I cite and commend your work 'From Darwin to Hitler'. It will be titled 'Three Men in a Hut and other Essays'.
Keep it up, your work is important. even if 'they that have not joy' are doing their best to prevent it coming to public attention.

Yes, another Schaeffer influencee here -- my doctorate however was in physics.
Schaeffer was important in my studies because he viewed the secular / sacred divide as unbiblical. Very profound, and now very obvious to me.

Thanks for your story! I've loved your essays also, especially on Bohnoeffer. I was a Francis Schaeffer nut during the 70s too. Ah, but then I read Kierkegaard, Aquinas, and many of the others he supposedly read, and discerned that he just hadn't read them and misinterpreted them madly. Ugh. I still love the guy, though. He should have studied theology and European history a lot more before writing. His works got me to do it though. Yipee!

I am a student at MJC , and I am hoping to transfer to CSU Stanislaus in a year or so. I've read "Total Truth" by Nancy Pearcey, but I haven't really read anything from Shaeffer yet. I do enjoy writers like R.C. Sproul, John Piper, and Ravi Zacharias. Many of them mention Schaeffer.
I can really relate to your story, though. I hear echoes of my own story there. It's good to see Christ-followers who are serious about loving God with their minds, as well as their hearts.

"I have never regretted my decision to follow Jesus, no matter what the cost"
I find this phrase interesting. What do you believe the cost has been for you?
